Pasting graphics in rich text Info Item
I have used Ultra Recall for years. Here is my current Instal Info with some personal content removed:
Ultra Recall Professional 4.1b Windows version: 5.1.2600.2.0 Install path: C:\Program Files\UltraRecall EncryptPDF.dll version 3.0.0.2 hrs32.dll version 5.0.1.3 hts11.dll version 11,0,2,3 mimepp.dll version 3.0.4 msptls.dll version pdf2txt.dll version 3.1.0.4 PolarSpellChecker.dll version 4.0.5.4 riched20.dll version 12.0.6211.1000 SftPrintPreview_IX86_U_10.dll version 1.05 SftPrintPreview_IX86_U_20.dll version 2.02 SftTree_IX86_U_60.dll version 6.02 ter16.dll version 16.0.5.0 UltraRecall.exe version 4.1.2.6 unins000.exe version 51.50.0.0 Database version: 4.0.0 I have never been able to paste a graphic in a rich text Info Item. When I try, UR crashes immediately. Why doesn't UR support something as simple as graphics in rich text? Or am I missing something? When I search the forums here, I find only a few very old messages suggesting using an up to date version of RichEd20. I think I am. Any suggestions? |

You actually need an older version of the rich edit control -- the newer Office versions have additional features but also more bugs (like the one you mentioned).
Exit UR and delete C:\Program Files\UltraRecall\riched20.dll, then reinstall UR, keeping Use Office rich edit control unchecked, and optionally checking the Install rich edit control with table support option. See here for more details: http://www.kinook.com/Forum/showthre...?threadid=2853 |
