Numbering a Text Document
I have many documents that I have separated a would like to highlight the entire group and then add numbering to the beginning of each title in a batch process.
Currently I have had to rename each document one at a time with the number. To take it a step further, it would be nice to be asked what number to start with. ie: start with number 5 ie: documents a b c d would be 1. a 2. b 3. c 4. d |

are you trying to rename files? if so, multirename tool of total commander would be able to do exactly what you describe (free for 30 days i believe).

Renaming existing internal UR Docs
Yeah, I have owned T.C. and use it all day long.
I am looking to re-number internal documents inside of UR. I might have separate items inside of UR and want to number them so I know the ordering. Currently I need to rename each internal item manually and add the number. Coming from the MyBase world, I was able to select multiple items, click on the rename addon and it would add the numbering as the prefix of the item titles, that is what I am hoping UR can accomplish. |

for things like this some macro program would work (press F2, press home, increase counter, insert counter, insert space, press enter, press down arrow) ... this has been discussed in the forums
