Locked Tab does not stick
When I lock a tab and then click on another text document, I would imagine the new text document I clicked on would automatically open a new tab, instead it is using the existing focused tab even though the tab is locked.
Is there a setting I missed to select to prevent this from happening? |

By design, opening a new tab starts at the same item as the previous tab (the new tab will not be locked, even if the previous tab was locked). Typically, you would then navigate to another item in the new tab. Another option is to right-click on an item and choose Open in New Tab.

Thanks for the quick response. When I click on Favorites and then select an item it automatically selects a new tab, can this behavior be added as a enhancement in future versions to behave the same way when clicking on documents from the Data Explorer view?
Thank you in advance for responding. |
