Document template not in Insert picklist
Howdy Folks,
It's been a while since I've been here, finally moved up to a more modern computer and upgraded from v.3x to v.5.2. Wondering if I'm missing something in the new version... I want to create a derived Document Template, typically I would right-click on the Template folder, chose Insert Child, and the children of the Template folder are available in the picklist - but not the Document Template, is this now normal. I was able to copy the Document Template then paste into the Template Folder as a new item but this isn't what I'm used to. Looking forward to participating again. |

Welcome back, ashwken.
By default the Document template is hidden from the insert menu (since it typically is only used internally by UR when importing document files), but you can show it via a registry entry -- see CanInsertDocumentTemplate in http://www.kinook.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=5097 |

Kinook, thanks for the quick response, I'll make the change when I get home.
