Info Item attribute in forms

hi,

I have created an Info Item Attribute and added it to a form. When I apply that form to an item, I notice that the Info Item field on the form is read-only. That is, the text showing in it is greyed out and I can make no changes to it. At the same time, I can go to the Attributes Pane for that item and use the Info Item field as normal, that is, select it, change the value etc.

Is there a reason why the behaviour of the field on the form and the field in the Attributes Pane are different?

Not sure, in my tests it's edited in both places in the same way -- double-click or F2.

OK - F2 works, hadn't thought to try that...

If the field on the form is empty, just placing your cursor in it makes the tree pop up. If it already has a value, you have to press F2.

It's just a slight difference in behaviour between form and attribute pane. A little confusing but not a major issue.

In the latest download (5.2.0.10), the form behavior has been changed to display the item selection dialog when clicking on an info item field even if it has a value.
