Send to Tray?
Hi,
all "send to tray" options I found are linked to minimizing the app window, but it does not seem possible to keep both the ability to minimize to app to the taskbar and send the app to tray. Example: minimize button minimizes to taskbar ESC sends the app to tray Or is there any internal way to achieve both, pls? Thanks in advance! k |

UR is always in the tray, so unchecking 'Minimize to system tray' (really means do not show in taskbar when minimized) and checking 'Esc minimizes application window' will do both.
You may want to customize your system tray (really Notification Area) to always show UR on the right of the taskbar. https://tinyurl.com/y2vqbky6 |

Thank you for your kind reply!
IMO there is a difference in whether the user wants to minimize to taskbar (so the app can be accessed very fast) or to the tray (so the app is off the view, but still accessible w/o any delay such as loading data upon app start). I have noticed that many apps offer either minimize to taskbar or to tray. IMO they are two different things. I will work around this. Best regards! k |

With UR, there really is no difference, other than the icon either being shown or not shown in the task bar. UR is still running in the background either way.

I understand. Thank you.
This may seem unrelated at first, but it is: Could you, pls, advice me if there is a way to change a UR options setting while UR is running w/o accessing the GUI? (example: toggle ON and OFF the Tools/Options/General/Behavior/Minimize to system tray) Many thanks in advance! k |

There is not.
