Attributes

I have imported a rather large number of emails rom several mbx files. The date of each message, from and to are all listed in the attributes pane. This is very helpful for me since an occasional email (written in html I think) displays in UR without headers.

I know how to create new attributes and I am wondering why a subject attribute is not generated automatically. I cannot seem to create one that will automatically read the subject of existing and email yet to be imported. Having this ability would also help when I search for a particular subject.

Can I do this?

Jon

The message subject is stored in the Item Title attribute.

Thank you. I knew I was overlooking something.

Can you tell me why some imported email messages appear with the header information in UR while others do not? Is it atributable to text vs. html?

Yes, if the message contains only an HTML part and no text parts, it is displayed in the internal browser instead of the MIME viewer. You can still view the entire message externally if you have an associated app for MIME (.eml) files.
