virtual folders in vista

With its Virtual Folders concept (not exactly a "new" idea), Windows Vista implements something akin to what has been suggested here in various forms. With a few modifications to the current UR search concept, UR could provide similar (even better) functionality (in addition to all the superior information management features that Vista will not have!)...

1. Search results shown as children of the Search item

2. Searches can be hierarchical (ie, search is applied to results of parent search)

3. Dragging an item onto a Search item changes the attributes of that item to match search criteria (allowable only for searches that don't contain an "OR" Relationship and each of the criteria have an "equals" Comparison).

With these, UR would have virtual items, smart items, whatever you want to call it... and better than Vista.
