Basic search question

I create a new URD, add a folder "Hierarchy" below My Data and type "testing" into the Item Detail pane of said folder. Then I click on Quick Search, enter "testing" into the Quick Search text box and click Start. No item is returned. However, if I search for a string that I know exists in the pre-defined items (Appointments, Contacts, et al), an item is returned.

Any help much appreciated.

I'm not sure -- when I do that, the Hierarchy item is shown in Search Results (see attached .urd file and screen shot). Does my sample database include the result when you open it? Please send the info from http://www.kinook.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=3038.

Add .rtf, and any other file extensions that should be parsed for text, to Tools | Options | Import | File extensions to parse text. The default is
Code:
.txt;.rtf;.doc;.docx;.xls;.xlsx;.xlt;.ppt;.pttx;.htm;.html;.eml;.nws;.msg;.mht;.xml;.pdf;.tif;.tiff;.zip
