Syntax Highlighting in UR
I am using KnowledgeBase from Ozmosys for my various code snippets. Since I started using UR for my PIM work, I thought it would be a good idea to move my code snippets to UR.
But without Syntax Higlighting the code examples are less readable now. Has anybody an idea to use an external utility to get Source Code with proper Syntax Highlighting into UR? Best Regards Pete |

If KnowledgeBase can export to RTF or HTML, you could import these formats into UR and syntax hilighting will be imported ("hardcoded").

I'm facing the same problem and like to see syntax higlighting integrated in UR. With that, UR would be perfect for me.
Thanks in Advance, Mike |

Embedding color codes in the source is unlikely. All these syntax coloring schemes are performed on the display only. Given the enormous number of languages and dialects (eg, RegEx) out there, it could be beyond the scope of UR. Even though without the intelligent syntax coloring, UR is still the most powerful repository of source codes. IMHO, UR is superiorly better than Knowledge Base 1.8 thanks to the UR's total freedom of data types and structures. For example, can Knowledge Base allow attachment of multiple beta test appointments to a piece of code snippet?
For syntax coloring, I use Multi-Edit, UltraEdit, and EditPad Pro. Just my two cents. Armstrong |

I also think UR would be a great solution for CodeSnippets so +1 for SyntaxHighlighting
