copy to ultrarecall (selecting part of webpage) problem
A lot of webpages that I wish to copy have a lot of unwanted material (advertisements etc).
Thus generally I will only select what I need and then click the copy to Ultra Recall button. But what happens is that "Import into Ultra Recall dialog opens with the Button Link preselected instead of the Copy I then have to click Copy which is really an unnecessary step. But if I don't select part of the webpage and just click copy to Ultra Recall, the "Import into Ultra Recall dialog opens with the Button Copy correctly preselected. How do I overcome this problem. This problem occurs whether I'm using IE 8 or Firefox 3.5.2 |

You don't need to click Copy -- if part of the page was selected, that selection will be copied/stored even if Link is selected in the dialog.

Thanks for the re-assurance despite the button indicating that it is to the contrary.
Hopefully, somewhere along the way, this will be fixed as this incorrect visual cue can mislead others. At least for me, there's this "fear" (lack of Peace of mind) that it can actually turn out to be a link instead of a stored file as I want it to be. |

This is fixed in the latest download (UltraRecall.exe 4.0.0.7 in Help | About | Install Info after installing).

This problem was fixed in 4.0.0.7 for sometime and then it resurfaced again.
It has not gone away despite my upgrading it to 4.0.0.8 |

This will be fixed in the next release. For now, you can work around the problem by checking Tools | Options | Import | Store contents when importing and syncing files and Outlook items.
