print grid question

I can print grid view w/o the grid. I'd like to print grid to make report more readable. How do I do this? Thank you.

If 'Tools | Options | Grids | Display grid lines' is checked, printing the Related Items pane will print with grid lines.

Hmmmm, maybe my printer is on the blink. I'll check settings cause what you describe isn't happening here

Later: grid & background appear on a printer I use for photos however if columns in URp go beyond page size, it is simply cut off. Suggestions for that?
