Simulating a Table of Contents
I want to create a "TOC" in the text portion of a parent item.
Example: Journal 2007 __December ____Mon ____Tue ____Wed I'd like to select Mon, Tue, Wed from outline & paste into text portion as hyperlinks so I can click on any one of these & have URp jump to that page. I can do this one item at a time but not with multiple selections. Is this possible in some way that I can't fathom? If it isn't, can this be turned into a suggestion & moved to the Suggestion area. Thank you. |

The difficulty appears to be that you can't select multiple items without the content frame changing to show the new selection. If there was a way to "lasso" multiple items and drag them into the current item, you might have a chance...

Jan,
See the attached file which contains a couple of cropped screen shots from a competitor's product, is this what you have in mind. One-level below selected node, or all levels below selected node. |

Assuming that the underlined portions on the right are actually links to the items on the left, that's it precisely. What product is that? And thanks....

The program is Treepad Business Edition. I put a considerable amount of time into working with the program, but kept running into brick walls, then turned to UR - I'm still hitting some brick walls, but Kinook is attentive, seems more focused, and UR offer many other advantages. |

I hear you, hope you're right but time will tell. I've been thru this before with two other programs in the last 3-4 yrs & it is really a giant PITA to move all the data around. Inevitably some of it is lost or misplaced or corrupted or something.....
