Since you're improving the built-in RTF editor, it would make sense to provide more paragraph-based controls:

- explicit indent control - left, right and first line

- before and after paragraph spacing control

- paragraph styles - I've not found much use for font styles that aren't attached to paragraphs

If you're writing this stuff from scratch, it's maybe a little late to get into this. If you're buying RTF parts, these would be valuable additions.
