How can I pass a carriage return/newline in a Run Program action command?

Type the key combination Ctrl+Enter within the Command field (or any other multi-line step property) to insert a newline character. This can be used to pass a newline character as part of a parameter in the step command (be sure to enclose the parameter in double quotes as well).
