(Multi)Markdown support: Edit as Markdown, view as web page
I use MultiMarkdown for most of my notes/documentation and would love to see support for it in UR.
I envisage being able to edit a .md markdown text file (syntax highlighting and shortcuts/buttons for formatting would be a bonus), but when switched to View mode, UR would use saved .md file to generate the HTML web page and show the generated web page in the Web browser view. |

Any improvement to the current rtf editor is a welcomed one. |

This can serve as nice workaround. I can compose markdown docs within UR and display it externally via ctrl+j.
This way I have all my *.md docs stored in UR for portability. Won't work if md docs contain images or links to files. Have not found a a way to do it. 1. Install Typora (this is what I tested with) 2. Create an md file and import it 'stored' into UR 3. Put in 'templates'. 4. Use it to create future md docs Of course, it would be great to have UR support md editing & live-preview internally without having to rely on third party apps. Thanks |
