What am I not getting?
I like using the data explorer to arrange a bunch of ideas hierarchically...just build a true whose nodes all represent a discrete idea (in other words, nothing substantial in the item detail...the title IS the idea).
When I've got this structure built, I've tried all manner of cutting pasting and exporting to try to get this "outline" if you will, pasted in Word to edit as text and distribute to others who don't use UR. But I can't find a way to do this. I haven't dug that deeply into the tool, and this may be a lightweight way to use it...but what am I missing here? How can I get the structure I build in the dataexplorer exported from UR to word? I'd love to just cut and paste the tree...but is there an export option that can make this simple? Frustrated... You're not missing anything -- there was a bug when copying multiple selection in the tree. If you re-download and re-install http://www.kinook.com/Download/UltraRecallEval.exe, we have patched the install with a fix for this issue.
