persistently visible top of item
This probably isn't a practical suggestion, but if you don't ask...
I generally set the context for an item in the top few lines. I would like to be able to have a kind of "freeze panes" capability (much as you do with Excel), whereby I specify the top portion of the item and it doesn't scroll out of view, while the rest of the item does. Alternatively, if I could make a "clone" of the first few lines of text appear in the item note pane, where changing the text either in the note pane or in the top few lines shows up in its clone - that would also be useful. Let me know if this isn't clear, and I'll do a mockup of what I am hoping for. - Bal |

Perhaps you could create a new "Context" attribute, then you could create a Template and associated Form that might approximate what you want. I see that the Item Notes attribute can be added as column in the Child Items pane...but I'm not sure why it is not available in forms.
Just thinking.... |

Interesting way of playing with URP4. I'll give that a look-over and see how scratches the itch.
Thanks. - Bal |
