Export fails if item title contains ':'
Hi all and happy new year.
I remember reading at some point that UR will automatically replace illegal file name characters. Not sure why ':' is not replaced as well. |

I wasn't able to reproduce this behavior. In the attached URD file, I renamed
Appointments to :Appointments: exported to a file, and it created the attached file. The error message above suggests a permissions issue. |

Thanks for taking the time to double-check. It may have been related to selecting 'text items to a rich text (rtf) document' without having specified an actual file name. The access denied happens attempting to create the directory instead.
I was exporting a tree branch and it exported most before getting the errors I posted earlier. I noticed the failed ones all had ':" in the name, so I assume it was the culprit. I have to re-run that export and try to diagnose it more accurately. For now, I'm good. Thanks again. |
