UR exiting when viewing a .mht file
Hi,
I recently finalized an order on the Internet. I had the receipt displayed n my browser, and saved the current page as a .mht archive. When I either copy (link or store) the .mht file in my current .urd, as soon as I click on the created item, UR exits. I have read the instructions on how to report issue and will do so shortly, because this is very annoying. |

The quickest way to store it in UR would be to select all (Ctrl+A) or the part of the page containing the order info and Copy to UR (via the UR toolbar, right-click, copy/paste, or drag/drop).

Yes, I always forget that. But now my problem is even more serious, UR is exiting at random.
I'll probably reinstall it, after a reboot. |

If the problem persists, send as much detail as you can for us to investigate.

On another PC, with the same .urd, UR is not exiting when viewing the same item. Will try tomorrow after reboot on the PC where I had the problem.

The problem persists on one PC, with just a single .mht file in the .urd. I am going to send you required items so you can see what happens, hopefully.
Edited 02:24 PM : I just sent a zipped URD that contains all you asked for pinpointing a problem. Thanx. Last edited by MerleOne; 10-14-2009 at 07:25 AM. |

Looks like you're running XP SP2 w/ IE6. I suspect that upgrading to IE 7 or 8 or XP SP3 will resolve the problem. Or you might try repairing the Windows and/or IE installation. I tested UR 4.1 with the following configurations and was able to view the stored MHT item you sent without any problems:
Windows 2000 SP4 w/ IE5 Windows 2000 SP4 w/ IE6 XP SP3 w/ IE7 XP SP3 w/ IE8 Windows 2003 SP2 w/ IE6 Vista w/ IE7 Vista SP2 w/ IE8 |

I'll try to upgrade to IE7. On the PC where it works fine, which runs XP Home SP2, I do already have IE7, so it's definitely something to look into.
Thanks. BTW : can you confirm that the URD file is not corrupt in any way ? |
