Bullets in Item Details

If I activate bullets (clicking the icon on the toolbar) while editing some text under item detail, it sticks when I create a new item. In fact, on my machine, it messes up some of the displays of other items.

Why?

I don't know, we've never seen that. It might have something to do with which version of the rich edit control is being used.

I'm using the one recommended by you in that post. The version is 5.50.99.2050. (I know, the post says this is version 5.30.23.1230, but the file propertiess say otherwise)

You are correct. I exited UR, disabled the rich edit control, and re-started. The problem no longer exists. I know it was NOT solved by re-starting UR because this problem has always been present for me. I just haven't mentioned it. Perhaps this version of richedit isn't so good either.

Sorry to waffle on this, but the problem is back. I have removed the riched control entirely and am relying on the one installed with Vista Business. This is version 5.31.23.1228 according to UR.

To summarize, the bullet option on the toolbar seems to stick even though it says it is not.
