Prevent Accidental Reminder Dismissal

When the reminder window pops up, it is active, and the dismiss button is where the focus is.

If I'm typing in another application when this happens, I often accidentally dismiss the reminder window by pressing SPACE.

I think the reminder window should be on top, but NOT steal focus from the current application. Or is should simply not support keyboard input. Either way, I think it is important that it be hard to accidentally dismiss the dialog.

agree absolutely with this.
at worst the focus should be onthe first item. then the worst that can happen is you are taken to the item in UR.

However having the pop up show but not steal focus would be best.

Or even a simpler solution:

When the reminder window pops up, it can steal the input focus, but make it *unresponsive* for the first n seconds, where n is user-selectable (in preferences).

But the better way is to make sure it doesn't steal the input focus.
