internal hyperlinking
It would be really good if we could hyperlink internally within UR.

I second this request.
While the cloning/logical linking functionality of UR allows a lot of flexibility, it can't always provide the context-sensitive linking that hypertext allows. Futhermore it would give the growing number of people who are using personal wiki software for PIM purposes (e.g. ConnectedText, Wikipad) a reason to switch to UR - particularly if the linking method used the kind rapid progressive search functionality (i.e. on Info Items) that Wiki applications use for Topic linking. |

this is already on the list to be implemented in a future version of UR.

Is it on the roadmap?
Hi,
I would love to have internal hyperlinks (that is, in a Text UR Item, create an hyperlink to another item). However, as far as I can tell it is not in the Roadmap document anymore (in the "Version history" thread of this forum). Is this an indication that the feature is going to be delayed or too difficult or something else? Regards Eric |

It's still on the list, but we're not detailing releases beyond the next release any longer, and it's not slated for the next release.

Is there any news on this feature? It has now been TWO YEARS since I originally submitted a feature request for internal linking! See the following post for details:
http://www.kinook.com/Forum/showthre...highlight=wiki Since then, numerous other people have submitted requests for this feature. Many of the PIM products that directly compete with UR (MyInfo, for example) have had this feature for some time now. Last edited by bkonia; 11-30-2006 at 12:31 PM. |

It will be in the next release. If you're interested in beta testing, send a request to support@kinook.com and we'll notify you when a beta build is available.
