Can UR v2 and UR v1.4e run side by side? Are the databases compatible or is there a conversion to v.2?

Yes, they can both be installed at once. v1.4 can open v2.0 databases. One caveat is that in v2.0, Reminder attribute durations can be user-entered values, but v1.4 only knows about the ones predefined in the dropdown list, so it will not process user-defined values correctly.
