links to data items
Data item x is a child of data item y
I create a link to x as a child of z Under z, the icon for x has the little curved arrow showing it's a link. Under y, the icon for x now also has the little curved arrow. But x really is a child of y, not a link to someplace else. Shouldn't the icon under x NOT have a curved arrow? I find it confusing when it looks like a link but isn't--I can imagine thinking that I don't need a link at that point and then inadvertently deleting not a link but the actual data item. Is there an option I can choose so the icon for a data item will not look like a link? Also, if I do delete the actual data item, is there any way to have links to it deleted rather than redirected to the data item in the recycle bin? Thanks, |

Thanks. I did look around the forum for information but somehow missed this.
Maybe a ctrl-del to send the item to the recycle bin and delete all links would be a useful addition. Thanks again, |
