Ghost of a template past
I originally created a template, using the general format from the "Project" template but with a few revisions. I decided I didn't have it right so I deleted the template and redesigned it under another name. The template was deleted, and no insertions are using the old template. However when I right click on choice "Insert Child" the old template name is still there available for use. I have Compacted and Repaired the database but the selection remains. How do I get rid of the choice completely?

The reason it is still showing up is because the template is in the Recycle Bin (within Ultra Recall).
The reason it behaves that way is due to the fact that there could be Info Items based on a deleted (to the Recycle Bin) template. Therefore Ultra Recall currently continues to display it as a valid template until it is permanently deleted (removed from the Recycle Bin). In the upcoming minor release [free to licensed users], Info Items will remain based on templates in the Recycle Bin, but these templates will not be available for use by other Info Items (for assignment or when created), Both versions will re-assign the first available ancestor template to any related Info Items when a template is permanently deleted. For now the fix is simply to remove the deleted template from the Recycle Bin. |
