Reduce size of UR database

Hello, kinook.
My question is: why size of my base is big (3 Gb)? I never use "Store Contents" function. Usually I observe such situation. I added a file with Import function and I check "Do not process documents for text..." and size is not growing. Again If I added a file with Import function and I do not check "Do not process documents for text..." again size is not growing. I want to reduce the size of my base. I have to reimport my files with check "Do not process documents for text..."?

Thank you for answer.

If a document's text is processed when importing, any text that is parsed from the document will be stored in a full-text search index in the .urd file to enable fast searching the text content, which will take up space in the .urd file.

If you don't want this to ever occur when importing, clear out Tools | Options | Import | File extensions to parse text.

To remove all indexed text from an existing database, see the

sections of http://www.kinook.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=2825, and then compact the database via Tools | Compact and Repair.

Hello kinook.
I have a question. Can I delete a full-text search index, which corresponds to one item only? I want to delete just a part of search index.

Clear out Tools | Options | Import | File extensions to parse text and then select the item and synchronize it (Item | Synchronize).
