Internal Links
Hi,
I like to create links in Item Text of one item to other items. Very slick! If I'm in a meeting, I create a meeting item, type in the minutes and create a task item for any action items that come up and then create an internal link from the action item to the relevant place in the meeting minutes text. These action items can then show up in many meeting minutes as internal links during the course of a project. The action items are ususally children of other items also. I had hoped that these internal links would show up in something like the parent or child list. The help file tells me it won't show up. "Internal links are not included in an item's parents as tracked by Ultra Recall. " Is there a way to select an item and see what internal links exist? |

No, there isn't (apart from obvious text search, which is not going to work if you renamed the link created by UR)
Grrrrrr, this one is my TOP WANTED feature for a very long time |

Hey, let's hope Kinook works it into a release in the near future.
It's so cool to be able to create internal links in the meeting minutes so you can track back to where the action item originated. I'm going to link the "Action Items" as children to the meeting item as well as an internal link in their proper place in the meeting minutes. It works but not quite as elegant. |
