Shared database
I have a shared database on my NAS drive so I can access it from either my desktop or laptop. UR can see the file OK and open it, but additions I have made to it from the desktop are not showing up when I open it on the laptop. I don't think it is even a file locking issue as even if I move away from the record it still doesn't show, nor does it if the desktop machine is off.
Any ideas? Thanks, |

It sounds like something on your network is caching the file changes (UR commits database changes immediately).

There is nothing caching that data file. It is saved onto my NAS and both installs of UR read from it but for some reason UR that is installed on the laptop doesn't have any new data I have entered into the database. This is why I'm confused as both are using the same file...
I did try the step in the instructions about refreshing the tree and still didn't update it on the laptop side... |
