unhoisting
When I hoist in an iterative way, going from
root --- (hoist) topic ------ (hoist) sub-topic --------- (hoist) sub-sub-topic And if I unhoist from sub-sub-topic, URP4 returns me to root rather than to sub-topic. Is this per design? Is there a way to make unhoisting as iterative as hoisting? If it's not per design, is there a setting on my Vista machine that could be accounting for this? Thanks. - Bal |

That is by design. To unhoist one level, select the root item and then Go | Up One Level (Home, Backspace).

very cool - I love it.
One suggestion - create a three-icon system where you have hoist, unhoist (backspace equiv), and global unhoist. That way I don't have to jump from mouse to keyboard and back again. Not a huge deal, but over time, it does add up. Thanks! - Bal |

Just stay at the keyboard, or customize the toolbars as desired.

It took me a little bit to figure out how to do this with the toolbar. The needed command is to go up one level, which is available on the Commands tab of the of the Customize dialog looking at the Go menu.
Thanks much. - Bal |
