Auto Hide All Panes
Right now I use Alternate Layout to toggle between one layout where I show multiple panes and another layout where the Item Detail takes up the entire UR window (with all other panes in auto hide). It would be nice if there were a separate toggle command that caused the Item Detail to be showed in Full Window, and then reverted back to the original layout when selected again. So I could have 2 different multi-paned Alternative Layouts that I could switch between, and in either one, select a command to show the Item Detail in full window view and then revert back.
In other words, have a command to Auto Hide All Panes, and then to revert back, a command to Show All Panes. |

Try F11.

F11 is the Alternate Layout command.

I also currently use the Alternate Layout (F11) Button as a Full Screen view of the Item Detail pane. This is an essential requirement for browsing if nothing else. So, I would strongly suuport this suggestion for an 'auto hide' or Full Screen Button/Shortcut Key in addition to the Alternate Layout Button.
Another related suggestion I would like to see, is a facility to Save a Layout and be able to 'Revert to Saved Layout ' so that, after tinkering with a Layout to get the information I want in view, I can revert to my prefered default layout(s) without having to undo all the tinkering. |
