Unable to open email

When I try to open some emails not all I get the following two errors, see the attached screen shots. |

Regarding the first dialog, uncheck the 'Always ask' checkbox before clicking Open. Regarding the error message, does the file exist in that folder (the previous dialog suggests it does since it states it has a size of 48.2KB)? One possibility is http://www.kinook.com/Forum/showthre...threadid=4313. Otherwise, please send the info requested at http://www.kinook.com/Forum/showthre...threadid=3038. Thanks.

I sent the information you requested to the support email address along with a copy of the issue file.
some emails open a few do not. When I select them in the list, they give me the errors that I showed you in the screen shot. If I double click them in the tree view, the email opens in Outlook. The error now goes away and instead of a preview I always see the edit in external editor in the preivew window. |

I was able to reproduce this behavior. When using the UR internal browser view (Tools | Options | Browser) to view .msg files, UR hosts an embedded instance of IE, which in turns hosts Outlook to display the formatted message. UR creates the temp .msg file, but it doesn't keep it open. There seems to be some sort of conflict between IE and Outlook when viewing some messages in this way, resulting in the error.
One option would be to instead use the MIME viewer (Tools | Options | Documents) or text editor (Tools | Options | Editor) for displaying .msg files in UR. You can also use Item | Open Document (Ctrl+J) to open the item externally in Outlook when needed. |

I tried both options and I still get the same error.

Did you remove .msg from the Browser option?

I missed that part, that stoped the error but I still cant see the contents of those few problem emails without opening them in outlook.
When I search through emails will it just skip these since its having issue openeing them? Why would some cause this issue and other not? |
