Jump to Word 2003

I've just imported a ListPro into UR. In ListPro, a click can jump to the URL. Now UR could only jump to Word and wait for file format conversion. May I know how to configure UR such that Ctrl+J can jump to the URL, may it be a PDF or MMAP file.

I'm puzzled why the info items in the sample Web.urd allow jumps to the webpages, but not my imported info items.

I understand each Info Item embeds a URL of the source.
Why is Word invoked whenever I press Ctrl+J?

Ctrl+J will launch the stored document (or linked document if not stored). Ctrl+Shift+J will always launch the url attribute (regardless of whether stored or not).

See http://www.kinook.com/UltraRecall/Ma...oardglobal.htm for all the global shortcuts.

Hi Kevina,

Many thanks for your instant rescue. Your answer instantly solves my problme. I'm sorry for being new to UR. And I appreciate your patient. UR represents a completely foreign concept to me. UR is very different than all other database products. UR uses a different set of terminology and a different way to process unstructured data by means of Info Items, Attributes, Templates. and Forms.

Thank you again for your hep.
