Last One to Know - *folder
Besides the fact that *folder is sitting right at the top of the Help File Index...
Quote:
If the parent folder contains image files, thumbnails are displayed. There is no "linkage" between the parent display and the actual child, to view the child you need to either select it in the Data Explorer, or right-click Preview (Win Explorer popup), or launch it - remember the parent folder is displaying Windows Explorer in the Detail Pane (browser). Attached (screen - Import Folder Thumbs-1.zip) are a couple of screens that illustrate this. My apologies if this is old-hat. Last edited by ashwken; 01-10-2008 at 09:08 AM. |

The Rest of the Story

ashwken,
Thank you for highlighting the usage of *Folder. Folder is probably the most overlooked and underused feature by most UR users. Working with a myriad of folders and files directly inside UR can save huge time and frustration of switching between windows. Armstrong Edited for typo errors 1/11/2008 Fri 7:09:38 AM HKT.
