Unicode searching

Will future versions of UR be able to do searches in unicode?

Ultra Recall does honor unicode text and the keywording and search capabilities are written with unicode compliance and functionality in mind. That being said, it is written by English speaking developers using the English version of Windows, and therefore it is possible that some parts of the application are not fully compatible with unicode text.

What language are using to enter information into Ultra Recall? Is Ultra Recall retrieving valid keywords for the text/documents you are adding? Do certain Advanced Search operators work for you with unicode text or not at all?

If you can provide details about how Ultra Recall is not doing what you would expect or desire with Unicode text, we will add your findings to our todo list for a future version of Ultra Recall. We do have a few unicode related issues on our feature request list, but they are not specific to searching.
