In a future release it would be nice if there was a greater choice of icons to use. At present it is pretty limited. I know that one can import a *.ico file containing an icon, but if you have different databases you have to do it for each database. It would be nicer if it were incorporated right into the UR program. Treepad has a good example of incorporating icons. It is very useful.

I used the freeware utility Icon Sucker to search my hard disk for useful icons (not only for Ultra Recall) and then saved these to a specific directory.

Now I can just import all the files in the directory in any database that I want to use them. Some of them are quite specialised and I wouldn't expect them to be provided even in an extended selection; however I find them very useful.

You can also create your own template database with the icons and other setup that you want, then each new database you create will contains those icons:
