Problems with VBP 6.7 on Windows Server 2008

Is VBP 6.7 compatibile with Server 2008?

I've installed VBP on a new build server which is running this OS but the:
*Project Steps (and other windows accessible by tabs)
*Actions
Windows do not work. I cannot scroll or select items in the tree views. The appearance looks slightly strange with grey boxes instead of checkboxes etc.

The Output window looks fine.

Is there a way to fix this?

VBP v6 is compatible with Server 2008, but not 2008 R2 (which uses the Win7 codebase). VBP v7.1+ supports Windows 7 and 2008 R2.

Ah right, this is R2

I also have some problems actually building some bits (xml2 etc..) so will look at sorting those before considering an upgrade.
