7-zip build step: unable to locate 7-Zip executable (x86 vs x64?)

I noticed since I upgraded to VBP8, the 7-Zip build step doesn't work anymore. I get an error "Unable to locate 7-Zip executable".

Note that I'm using the 32-bit version of VBP8, and the x64 version of 7-Zip (running on Win7 x64 Professional). Not sure if that makes a difference? It did always work OK in VBP7, but since there are now separate 32-bit and 64-bit versions of v8, maybe it's now looking exclusively for 32-bit registry keys or something?

Anyway, I can work around this with a Read Registry + Run Program step, but I thought I'd better mention it. Obviously it's more convenient if the native 7-Zip step works as intended. Hope this helps!

The 32-bit edition of Visual Build v8 only auto-locates the 32-bit edition of 7-Zip, and the 64-bit edition only auto-locates the 64-bit edition of 7-Zip. You can specify the path+filename of the executable on the Options tab of the action.
