Synchronization Problem
Hello,
I have not been able to reliably synchronize files created in Blocknote.net in .mht format. I have tried several ways of bringing the files into Ultra Recall, including creating a Blocknote template based on document. In all cases, changes made to the files when opened for editing from Ultra Recall do not appear in Ultra Recall until after closing and restarting Ultra Recall. I have tried manual synchronization, but the changes never appear until after restarting Ultra Recall. I appreciate any advice on overcoming this problem. Thanks, Timothy |

The problem you are experiencing is not a Synchronization problem, but rather an issue displaying the mht file in the internal Browser view of Ultra Recall (which uses an embedded copy of Internet Explorer).
Internet Explorer exhibits the same behaviour when used directly. You can verify this by displaying an mht file, then edit this same file in your BlockNote.net (your mht editor). Then navigate away from the mht file in IE, navigate back. You will notice that the latest mht file is NOT displayed, and refreshing will never cause it to display until you restart Internet Explorer... Currently the best workaround in Ultra Recall is to view and edit mht files externally. We realize this is less than ideal and we are working on a potential fix in Ultra Recall to workaround this shortcoming of Internet Explorer. |

The download file has been updated to incorporate a fix for the .mht issue described (the version for this download is still 1.2a).
See http://www.kinook.com/Forum/showthre...=&threadid=911 for instructions about upgrading to this latest version of Ultra Recall. |
