custom hyperlinks?

I have an application that enables the copying of internal links (URI's) - they look like this:

ct://Semantic%20Discovery%20Systems/POSSIBLE%20EARLY%20ADOPTER

I want to be able to paste these into UltraRecall, click on them from UltraRecall and thus navigate to the appropriate link specified location in that program... Is there a way to do this - I can't see how?
