excluding recycle bin - search

I don't believe exclusion of recycle bin is working in quick search. At least not for me. A quick search, w/o selecting include recycle bin still includes items that are in the recycle bin. This is causing me a lot of confusion. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I do'nt know what it is.

This works in our testing.

Please ZIP and send (to support@kinook.com) or post:
1) The info from Help | About | Install Info
2) Run RegEdit and export the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Kinook Software\Ultra Recall\Options"
3) A .urd file containing a saved search and some items in the Recycle Bin which are found with that search.

Thanks.

I think my problem was a function of improper search bracketing. At the moment the specific problem is solved. If it returns, I will examine more carefully before posting. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
