Error calling \...\tf.exe Get force

We are using VisualBuild v6.5 and when we make the following call in the build script:

tf.exe get /force /recursive /version:T

We often get the following error:

The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process

We are running TFS 2008 and we're able to run the get command from the command line without getting the error.

Has anyone seen this issue?
