UR is developed with Visual C++, and I don't see how a Windows update could affect searching within UR. The SQLite library is statically linked into UltraRecall.exe.
I'm still unable to reproduce the problem with AND and OR not working. Can you post the details from https://www.kinook.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=3038
