Can Win+V add the source Window name?
I made some suggestions on how to improve the capture clipboard feature. But I know that UR is powerful, and some of its power is hidden.
So I ask if there is a solution to the following problem: - I often use to copy from various sources (Web pages, PDFs, etc) snippets of info and paste them to UR (Win+V) for research purposes. - If I copy&paste a piece of info from the Web, the Attributes Panel shows the URL source, from where it come from. - If I copy&paste pieces of info from PDF Readers (I use Foxit) or from MSWord, etc, no way to understand where the info comes from. So I need to Open UR everytime a new note is made and edit (add shortly) the source myself. - There are clipboard utilities that I know (to mention one: clip cache pro) that are always able to record the Window title name and other attributes of the source from where the piece of info comes from. That is very useful, because one can track the original file name (window title) of the captured info. I would say an essential feature if one uses UR to collect info all around. Can this feature be done in UR or be added in some way? Thanks Last edited by Anthony; 01-21-2012 at 03:19 PM. |
