Quirk with tree expansion

I have the "Single-click to expand an item" option turned on for the tree.

With a child item selected on the tree, if I click on the "minus sign" next to the parent of that child item and collapse the parent's tree structure, this option unwantingly auto-expands it again for me Basically, it seems like the auto-exapand feature should only expand the item when I explicitly click on it, not when it "gets the focus" for example when I click on the minus sign to collapse it.

This can get a bit annoying after a while
