Erron compiling Visual Studio 2005 Solution

When compiling a Visual Studio 2005 solution, we get the following error message:

Solution configuration 'Debug Any CPU' not found.

We are using a VS.NET step.

If we change configuration to "All" we get

"Input string was not in a correct format."

When compiling the solution in Visual Studio directly, everything compiles successfully.
