Where are the File options?

Hi,

I'm trying to import the actual content of some PDF files. According to the Help, we are supposed to check the Store file contents in Ultra Recall, under File Options.

But under Tools/Options, there's only

General
Search
Trees
Trees (more)
Grids
...
...
Reminders
Miscellaneous

, but not file tab.

Are you looking for
Tools | Options | Import >
Store contents when importing and syncing files and Outlook Items
to make that the default?

or

Item | Store Contents

to do it for a selected Item

File/Import... menu, File Options (or Options) in the second dialog box (after a Next).

That's the second place I looked, but there was no PDF or Doc option there.

I'll take a look later, maybe there's another option that applies.

Will check again, but I think neither worked. When not on the original PC where the items came from, it just shows text for the PDF, and doesn't preview it correctly.

Anyway, I'll try again, when in the office tomorrow.

Storing vs. linking when importing is configured by different options than how PDF files are displayed in UR. See here for details on the latter:

Huh. The PDF documents that were stored internally - I'm able to view them at the office, but not at home.

I think what's happening, is that I added the PDF and some other file extensions to the Browser Options at the office, but didn't do it at home. Those settings are global, and stored in the registry, rather than stored with the project, probably.
