Hidding the search pane
I am starting to use the hide function for many of my windows. I notice that as the help file says, an esc will hide the window when I am finished with it. When I do a search the children/results window seems to get pinned and once I select the document I want to work on an escape will minimize the app instead of hiding the window. Am I doing something wrong? Is there some other way to get that window hidden and get the cursor into the item detail window?

Starting a search currently pins the search results pane if it is auto-hidden (so that the results will be visible), and Esc only hides an auto-hide pane. If focus is in the search results pane, you can use Ctrl+Shift+H to auto hide the pane again. We'll consider changing this behavior to not pin the search results (although there are some circumstances where this may result in the pane getting focused or hidden when not expected).

Something like Ctrl+Shift+H is all I needed. Thanks
