How do I import data from Onfolio?
Option 1 [separate files option]:
In Onfolio: 1) right-click the item to be exported 2) click Export | To Files 3) select a folder, click OK In Ultra Recall: 1) click File | Import 2) choose 'A folder', click Next, 3) enter or browse to the folder exported to -- check 'Process files in subfolders (recursive)' -- set other import options as desired -- click Next 4) choose a destination item, and click Finish Option 2: [tab delimited file option]: In Onfolio: 1) choose the 'To EndNote Tab-delimited' export option 2) enter the filename to export to, and click Save In Ultra Recall: 1) choose File | Import on the menu 2) choose 'A delimited text file (CSV)', click Next 3) check 'Skip missing values' -- 'First row contains field names' -- choose a Field Delimiter of <TAB> -- choose a Text Qualifier of " (double quote) -- enter or browse to the file exported above -- map the columns to Ultra Recall attributes (map Title -> Item Title and Notes -> Item Notes, and create any new attributes as necessary in Ultra Recall via the Attributes Editor button to map attributes not yet in Ultra Recall) -- choose an appropriate Template from the list -- click Next 4) choose where to import to, click Finish Option 3 [XML]: In Onfolio: 1) Run cfs2xml.exe (located in the Onfolio installation directory) to export your collection to XML In Ultra Recall: 1) click File | Import 2) choose 'An XML (OML/OPML) file', click Next 3) enter or browse to the file exported above -- map attributes as desired -- set other import options as desired -- click Next 4) choose a destination item, and click Finish |
