Registered eval with key, now Help is gone
I had been using the eval version for a few days, version 5.0. I hit the eval limit of 50 project steps and then registered the product with a name and key as instructed. After registering, the project file I had been working with got set to read-only. No other apparent problems, but it was confusing for a moment. I fixed that.
Also, my Help has disappeared. If I click on the Help buttons or menu commands, nothing happens, and I can't seem to find the Help files. Help had previously been working when I was still under the Eval license. Should I reinstall? Help has reappeared. Honestly, I didn't do anything to cause Help to disappear or reappear. I didn't uninstall or reinstall or anything like that, but I have been using VBP actively this morning.

The read-only problem was my fault, a result of saving the project file in SourceSafe. Sorry.
But the Help file thing really happened, and it remains a mystery. |
